Mecalux will take part again this year in LogiMAT, Europe’slargest annual intralogistics trade show. The event will be held from 19 to 21 March 2024 at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre in Germany. There, Mecalux will unveil its new range of AMRs (autonomous mobile robots), its 3D Automated Pallet Shuttle system and its DOM software for distributed order management.
At Mecalux’s two stands, visitors can explore the latest innovations in storage technologies and software solutions for companies from all sectors. At Stand 1C10, located in Hall 1, the intralogistics group will present its advancements in warehouse automation: AMRs, the 3D Automated Pallet Shuttle and the Shuttle System. At Stand 8A57 in Hall 8, Mecalux will display its latest innovation in integrated warehouse management software: the DOM system. This program optimises distributed order management for omnichannel businesses with multiple logistics facilities, shops and sales channels.
Flexibility in automation: new AMR line
AMRs are smart vehicles designed to transport loads without requiring human intervention. They navigate freely through the warehouse, orienting themselves based on virtual maps. They can be incorporated into any type of logistics facility and handle a wide variety of loads: from boxes, trays and containers to shelving and pallets. Mecalux will bring its AMR 600 — capable of moving loads of up to 600 kg — to LogiMAT 2024.
Compact storage for pallets and cartons: 3D Automated Pallet Shuttle and Shuttle System
Visitors will also be able to explore first-hand Mecalux’s new automated high-density storage solutions for pallets and boxes. The 3D Automated Pallet Shuttle features a multi-directional shuttle car that moves inside the storage channels and can change levels. It stands as the ultimate solution for achieving maximum compacting of goods, productivity and flexibility in pallet storage systems. Meanwhile, the Shuttle System streamlines the entries and exits of boxes, expediting order picking.
Omnichannel, multi-warehouse logistics: DOM
Mecalux’s DOM system designed to centralise supply chain management for omnichannel companies with multiple distribution centres and large daily shipment volumes. Equipped with the most recent developments in data analytics and artificial intelligence, the DOM software integrates and syncs the various supply chain stakeholders (warehouses, shops, marketplaces, ERP systems, 3PL providers, carriers and call centres).
