Three storage systems at the Airbus centre in Spain

28 Oct 2019

Mecalux will install different storage systems to optimise flows, increase capacity and make better use of the warehouse space of Airbus, a well-known aircraft manufacturer.

The building is divided into two distinct zones. Each will be fitted with pallet racks, cantilever racks for large aircraft components, and M7 shelving for picking for smaller products. In total, the warehouse will be able to store more than 6,700 pallets of 800 x 1,200 mm with goods of different heights.

These three combined systems will allow the company to organise such a variety of stock more efficiently.
