Petrochemical company Proman will implement Interlake Mecalux’s Easy WMS warehouse management system in its Caribbean facility in Point Lisas (Trinidad and Tobago). In this industrial hub, Proman operates several plants with a combined annual production capacity of over 5 million tonnes of methanol, urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) and melamine.
Digitalising the supply chain is essential to ensure full traceability of these materials, which serve as raw inputs in manufacturing parts, coatings, fertilisers, fire-resistant compounds and other products.
The producer of methanol, fertilisers and natural gas-based products is digitalising its warehouse to support clients in industries such as automotive, construction and agriculture. Easy WMS will be deployed in Proman’s melamine packaging facility to coordinate all logistics operations. “Implementing the Interlake Mecalux software is part of our commitment to maintaining global competitiveness. We aim to raise our standards in reliability, safety and sustainability. A digitalised management system will help us streamline operations and pivot quickly to market demands,” say Proman representatives.
Interlake Mecalux’s Easy WMS will maximise efficiency in the receipt, storage, picking and shipment of melamine. The software will provide comprehensive inventory control and end-to-end product traceability.
