More intuitive, better-connected RF devices

Easy WMS has introduced significant updates to RF devices to optimise the warehouse user experience. This new release features a redesigned, more intuitive interface for streamlined data organisation. It also improves team communication capabilities by enabling warehouse operators to send and manage messages directly from their RF devices.

A clearer, more user-friendly interface

The Android RF application has been redesigned in line with the latest Smart UI standards. Information is now organised to highlight the most relevant data for each process and make daily warehouse operations easier for users.

Key enhancements include:

• A dedicated header that clearly identifies the current process.
• Instructions and alerts displayed prominently at the top of the screen.
• Data entry fields and action buttons fixed at the bottom of the screen for faster task execution.
• Updated visual styles featuring new typography, bold formatting and improved table readability.
• Support for icons and images to enhance data clarity and comprehension.
• Input fields enriched with labels, icons and reference text.

These improvements help reduce errors, speed up task execution and provide a more user-friendly experience for operators.

User-to-user communication on RF devices

The update also extends the capabilities of the Supply Chain Event Management module by integrating message management directly into RF devices.

Operators can check, send and handle communications from their devices without accessing the web interface. Notifications are displayed through an optimised visual system that uses colour-coded severity levels for each message, allowing teams to identify urgent issues instantly.

User information has also been expanded for easier identification, now displaying first name, surname and username in all communications.
