Photo capture in Receiving and Dispatch
Easy WMS adds new capabilities for recording information during receiving and dispatch processes
Optimised traceability and incident documentation
Easy WMS has introduced new capabilities that enhance traceability and improve the quality of information recorded during receiving and dispatch processes. These improvements allow incidents to be documented more accurately and standardise quality control procedures, reducing friction with suppliers, carriers and customers.
Image capture during receiving operations
Users can now take photos during goods receiving to document logistics or handling incidents. Previously, this process was managed manually or with external tools, making traceability more difficult.
The new functionality enables the structured capture of visual evidence within the standard workflow, ensuring greater consistency in incident management across facilities and warehouses. It also helps minimise disputes and discrepancies with suppliers.
Additionally, the system allows users to configure whether image capture is mandatory, optional or not required, as well as define the number of photographs needed depending on the process.
Image capture based on item condition
With this new capability, users can link photo capture to the stock status selected during receiving. This makes it possible to collect clear and structured evidence of the actual condition of received goods, which facilitates the justification of blocks, incidents or discrepancies with suppliers, and improves consistency in quality control processes.
Image capture and digital signature during dispatch operations
Users can also document the condition of goods during lorry loading with images, as well as capture the carrier’s signature directly in the system.
This ensures full integration of photo capture and digital signature within the dispatch workflow, eliminating reliance on parallel processes and the use of external applications. This improvement results in a reduction of friction with carriers and customers and strengthens traceability for potential claims and future audits.
